SUGAR LAND, Texas -- The City of Sugar Land council approved changes to the speed limit on seven roadways at its June 21 meeting in response to a speed zone study conducted by Alliance Transportation Group Inc. The new speed limits will be implemented in phases as funding becomes available.

Mike is a transportation planning and analysis professional with more than 27 years of experience. He has a proven track record developing transportation solutions for cities, states and counties. He has established strong professional relationships with multiple departments and divisions of DOT’s, FTAA and FHWA as well as numerous county and city offices and planning organizations.

He is a member of the Capital Area Council of Governments, the Texas A&M Transportation Institute, American Council of Engineering Companies and the American Planning Association. He has served on the board of the Texas A&M Transportation Institute Foundation, as President and Vice-President of the Capital Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and is a member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar. He is the founder and president of Alliance Transportation Group, Inc., a transportation planning and analysis firm located in Austin, Texas. The company was founded in 1997 and currently has 93 employees.
