When you land in Orlando at either the Orlando International Airport (MCO) or Orlando Sanford Airport (SFB), it’s time to figure out how to get to Disney World. With the loss of Disney’s Magical Express, many families are left wondering what is the best way to go from the airport to Disney resort hotels.
Obviously, renting a car is one option. However, that will cost at least $35 per day for the rental plus gas and tolls. And then there’s the stress of finding parking. A private vehicle service is also an option. It’s often one of the most expensive, but it also guarantees that you don’t make other stops, you have enough space for your family and can arrive at your hotel with plenty of time to check-in.
There are quite a few different private car services out there. We’ll look at a few of the most popular and highly rated ones here.
One of the most popular and well-reviewed is Tiffany Town Car. They offer several vehicle options and carseats for families of all sizes. They also have a special add-on for a 20-minute grocery store stop. This is a great feature for families who don’t want to bother with lugging groceries from the airport to their resort. Their prices are also very reasonable, starting at $95 one-way from the airport to Disney.
Another popular option is Mears Shuttle. This is the company that used to run Disney’s Magical Express. Their shuttle services include a round-trip Combo Theme Park Express that goes from the airport to Disney and Universal and back.
