The Fort Bragg Transportation Office handles the movement of soldiers, families and military equipment through the installation. The Transportation Office includes the Traffic Management, Personal Property Shipping, Movement Control Center and other work centers to ensure efficient and responsive delivery of services. The Transportation Office also oversees the installation’s Fleet Operations, Installation Maintenance and Supply and Service operations.
The XVIII Airborne Corps and 82nd Airborne Division call Fort Bragg home. Other units on the post include the Parachute Team, Corps Support Command, 108th ADA Brigade, 20th Engineer Bde, 16th Military Police Brigade and the 44th Medical Brigade.

The Throckmorton Library on Fort Bragg is a community resource that serves Army, Marine, Air Force, Coast Guard, Navy, DOD civilians and military retirees and their family members. The Library offers a wide variety of books, magazines and audio/video content. It also has a computer lab, meeting spaces and a variety of other educational, cultural, recreational and social programs.
The Throckmorton Library also has two locations on post to help service members and their family stay informed. The Throckmorton Library’s mission is to provide a welcoming environment that fosters learning, community and culture, while promoting literacy and lifelong reading skills. It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
