Groome Transportation, which offers shared-ride airport shuttles for both locals and tourists, boosted service to Pueblo this week by adding 11 additional trips from Colorado Springs and Denver. The additional trips are aimed at serving "increasing demand" for shuttle service to and from the two cities, said Southern Colorado Operations Manager Christopher Schroeder. Schroeder added the company expects to have more shuttles on hand for the holiday season and urges anyone who plans to use the service to book their trip ahead of time. One-way fares from Pueblo to Colorado Springs are $39, while one-way fares to Denver are $98.
The shuttle service has a fleet of vehicles and is capable of carrying up to 44 passengers at a time. Passengers are able to reserve seats in advance through the Groome Transportation website or by calling the company. The company also operates a number of other ground transportation services in the United States, including limousines and car rentals.
In addition to offering affordable rates, the company's drivers are trained in safety and COVID-19 measures. Groome drivers follow strict cleaning procedures and regularly undergo physical exams. The company also requires its employees to wear face masks while on the job.
There are many fun and exciting things to do in Colorado Springs. For example, the city's Garden of the Gods park features beautiful rock formations and hiking trails. It is also home to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, which houses a variety of animals from all over the world.
