Whether you’re traveling for business or on vacation, Groome Transportation is here to help you get where you want to go. With convenient pick up locations, 22 trips per day, and fares starting at $41 each way, we make it easy to get to the airport and back from the airport.
Our shuttles operate out of Macon and Columbus Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. Each location is staffed with a manager, clerical assistants, dispatchers, and vehicle drivers.
All of Groome’s drivers are unique, highly-qualified passenger transportation specialists. They have passed a rigorous background check, physical ability and fitness tests, initial driver training instruction, and customer care reviews. They wear uniforms with Groome logos embroidered on them for easy recognition and professional appearance.
Drivers are required to log their time at the beginning and end of each shift. They must comply with Department of Motor Vehicle requirements that they work no more than sixty hours in any seven-day period. They must also submit a safety report to their employer at the end of each month.
During the flu pandemic, Groome is taking extra measures to ensure the safety of its passengers and employees. All of our vehicles and offices are being fogged daily with a hospital-grade, EPA-registered disinfectant, and we are adding an additional step to our cleaning checklist for the most frequently touched surfaces in our vans.
