How to Download Flickr Photos That Are Disabled

June 15, 2023

If you’re the owner of a flickr photo you have the option to disable downloading of your image. This prevents people from clicking on the image and saving it to their computer. This is a great way to protect your photos.

The good news is that there are a few ways to get around this, if you’re techy enough. One way is to use the F12 tool on a desktop browser and view the page source to find the download link. Another way is to install a plugin that allows you to view and download all sizes of an image. There are quite a few available for both Firefox and Chrome.

You can also use a mobile app to save Flickr images to your iPad. It’s a little more difficult to do, but it is possible. First, you’ll want to make sure that the Flickr app is configured to share all sizes of your photos. Once you’ve done this, you can navigate to the photos that you’d like to download and tap the “Share” icon.

Then, select the “Download” option and choose the size that you’d like to download. You can also use the mobile app to download entire albums, just be careful that you don’t exceed your storage limits. If you do, you may need to upgrade to a paid account to avoid overage charges.
