Over time, evenflo infant car seat covers can start to look a little dingy. Fortunately, this can be easily fixed by removing the cover and washing it. Before you do, however, be sure to vacuum the entire seat to remove any loose dirt or crumbs. Afterward, a mild soap and water solution can help remove stubborn stains.
To remove the cover, first locate the two red release buttons on either side of the car seat near the bottom. Press these down and then pull up on the cover to remove it. Before you do this, though, make sure to keep track of all the pieces that are attached so you can put them back in properly later.
Next, use a screwdriver to undo the two screws that are holding the cover in place. Once the screws are removed, you can then unzip the cover to remove it from the seat. Be careful not to yank or tug too hard, as there may still be straps or other components that are attached.
Once the cover is removed, you can then wash it in cold or warm water on a delicate cycle. Be sure to use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric softener. Once the cover is clean, you can then machine dry it on a low heat setting to prevent shrinking. Be sure to allow the cover to air dry completely before putting it back on the car seat.
