The city of Lawrenceburg in Indiana is a great place to visit for visitors from all over. There are plenty of fun things to do in the area that will keep you entertained all day long.

The Eiteljorg Museum is a must-visit when in Indiana. Here you can learn about the native people that inhabited the land before European settlers arrived.

Todd-Creech Park

Lawrenceburg is a beautiful city that has a lot to offer visitors. Its history dates back to the 1800s when it was a trading center for the Ohio River.

Todd-Creech Park is an outdoor park in the heart of the city that offers a variety of activities and attractions. It is one of the most popular places for families to spend time together.

The park includes three playgrounds, four shelters with picnic tables and charcoal grills, restrooms, a catch & release pond, and a dog park.

During the winter, the park also has a covered ice skating rink that is open from late November through early March. The rink is lighted at night for an exciting and memorable experience. Admission is $8.

Hollywood Casino & Hotel Lawrenceburg

Located about 20 minutes west of Cincinnati, Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg is a great place to spend an afternoon or evening of gambling and fun. This thriving casino offers players nearly 2,500 slot machines, 72 action-packed table games and 19 poker games.

The casino is also a popular venue for live entertainment. It hosts numerous concerts and events throughout the year, including nationally touring acts such as Sublime, Kesha, America and Rick Springfield.

The casino also offers guests comfortable hotel rooms. These feature a mini room safe, coffee-making facilities, towels & linen changed daily, and complimentary quality toiletries.

Screaming Raptor Zip Lines

The Screaming Raptor is not to be missed if you're looking for an oh so cool way to kill some time. The zipline itself is a bit of a challenge, but the thrills of free falling are well worth it. The company also offers a plethora of other activities and attractions for the whole family to enjoy, including a ginormous indoor Glice(r) ice rink and a nifty tyeps (naughty or nice) display with an eye-catching LED lighting display. The best part? Getting there is a breeze. The Screaming Raptor is located in the city of Petersburg, Kentucky and is a quick jaunt north of Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Tri-State Antique Market

Located on the first Sunday of every month from May through October, Tri-State Antique Market is Indiana's largest antiques and vintage only market. It features 200 dealers selling a wide range of antique and vintage goods, both in price and time period.

Vendors present an array of antique and vintage furnishings, decorative arts, jewelry, early Americana, architectural and industrial salvage and pop culture memorabilia. Merchandise is updated regularly to reflect changing tastes and trends in decorating and collecting.

The Market is a true smorgasbord for collectors, repurposers and thrifters looking for that next great find. It's also a fun and relaxing open air shopping experience that's perfect for those who prefer to shop without the tethers of technology.

Quilters Garden

Quilters are drawn to this shop for its extensive selection of fabrics and precuts. In addition to fabric and sewing tools, customers can also find books, batting and kits.

Vicki Reiter, owner of Quilters Garden, teaches quilt classes at the shop. She has also partnered with organizations like Quilts of Valor and Project Linus to donate fabric for their projects.

For the past two years, the store has offered a program called "Sewing Sisters," which pairs quilters with those who have special needs and can't sew themselves. During the program, quilters cut fabric and move it through the machine with a "sewing sister" who sits next to them to provide support.

The shop is also an organizer of the Southeast Indiana Quilt Expo. Several retreats are organized throughout the year.
