Workman Transportation (formerly known as The Villages Transportation) is now offering a direct airport shuttle service to Orlando International Airport from The Villages. Shuttles will depart from Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood Town Center 15 times per day. Private shuffles, as well as local day trips are also available, according to a news release. Linda and Scott Workman, who took over the company a few years ago, say their drivers are regularly screened, properly licensed, fully insured and continue their education in the field of transportation and travel.

The Toro Workman UTX is designed to tackle grounds and sports field maintenance, snow removal, tree care, trash pickup, event set up and tear down, transportation of tools, equipment and people, landscaping, and more. The UTX features a unique ground speed governing system that allows the operator to limit the vehicle’s RPM without gutting the power. A full-sized road-ready vehicle, the UTX is equipped with standard turn signals, brake lights, hazards and LED headlights and features a corrosion resistant spray-in bed liner.
